The Kern Family – Aledo, TX

“My family and I began looking to purchase a house in the early spring of 2012. Though we had previously owned homes in California, this was going to be our first home Texas. To be honest, we really did not think it mattered who our realtor was since we had some ideas of what we wanted thus resulting in us randomly picking the first realtor that came up on a web search. The realtor we picked did an ok job of showing us some homes we liked however we also viewed some homes that would never be a fit for our needs because he was also the selling agent for those properties. After some frustration, we decided to start scheduling appointments ourselves by just calling the selling agent listed for the homes we liked. That’s when we met Tara Stark, and boy we are glad we did. Within a few short minutes of speaking with Tara we noticed what a true professional she was. After viewing that first property, she offered to show us several other properties that she had pre-selected based on what she learned when we scheduled the visit. Not only were we happy with the suggested homes we saw, but even my Mother-in-law (tough cookie) was very impressed with her knowledge of so many aspects such as school ratings, neighborhood involvement, etc. Being in sales myself, I absolutely loved her honesty and willingness to point out both the pros/cons and that showed me that she really cared about what would be best for us. By the end of that day it was pretty obvious that we had found our realtor and as the process got heavier, Tara continued to guide us through it with truly great service all the way to signing. Even when she found out I was getting my loan from an out-of-state broker, she asked to speak with my loan officer to make sure he was putting us in the right program and they would be “ready to roll” when we found our house. I would recommend (and have) Tara Stark to anyone who is looking to sell or buy a home and do so with unwavering confidence that they too will be as happy as we are with her effort, professionalism, friendship, patience and toughness to do what’s best for her clients.”
